Mission Statement
Provide a community based mentor-ship and outreach program that will provide professional mentoring, structure, and support to manage and improve daily living challenges.
PURPOSE: To help build a strong sense of self-worth by providing tools to be used for personally, professionally, and/or family based needs
Overview
MENTORING - Focus on mentoring through hardships, equipping them to break destructive cycles and build healthy relationships.
FAMILY SERVICES - Family support and family preservation services such as short term mentoring, teaching parenting skills, healthy meal planning, budgeting, grooming, physical fitness for the min/body and resource brokering.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS - Provide fitness programs or consultation to improve overall well being.
FINANCIAL SERVICES - Budgeting and money management
SCHOOL/STUDENT RESOURCES - School based services from high school to college. This entails parent support groups, homework clubs, college identification, and sourcing scholarships for colleges.
LEADERSHIP and INTERPERSONAL DEVELOPMENT - Active listening, peer pressure, conflict resolution, and anger management
JOB PLACEMENT PROGRAMS - Resume writing, Job interviewing tips, Employer expectations
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE - Information and referrals for families and individuals requiring emergency assistance.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT/AWARENESS - Participants will be offered tours of various education and city/county offices along with involvement in community improvement projects.

Back to School
Get your back to school needs from My Voice is Powerful, Inc! We will be hosting a back to school supply drive for students that may not have the necessary items needed for their daily learning. We are asking for supplies that are used by all grade levels - Kindergarten thru high school.
